Even after letting this one breath for an hour, we couldn’t get past the distractingly unpleasant nose, which offered up notes of garlic, boiled cabbage, and other vegetables. There’s more obvious fruit in the taste, but the off-putting nose can’t be overcome. The blend includes Syrah, Zinfandel, Barbera, Cabernet, Mourvedre, and Tempranillo. Perhaps they should have kept one or two out.
