Louis Latour “Duet” Chardonnay-Viognier

This blend of two soft and fruity varietals (70% Chardonnay; 30% Viognier) is marred by an off-putting nose. Nutty and yeasty are the kindest descriptors we could come up with. Like dog food is less kind, but probably closer to the truth. The oak barrels (or oak chips) used to make this wine should be turned into firewood; they are no longer fit for winemaking.
